We offer a streamlined approach to planning that takes the pressure off of organizing even the most intricate events, and take pride in our creative approach to designing beautiful environments for guests to immerse themselves in. Melanie Komaya
Owner & Event Planner
Melanie Komaya has always had a passion for weddings. As a young girl growing up in Huntsville, Alabama, she became obsessed with popular TV shows that showcased the most fabulous occasions: David Tutera’s Celebrations, Platinum Weddings, Disney’s Fairytale Weddings, and more.
Following the completion of her degree in Restaurant and Hospitality Management with a concentration in Meetings & Event Planning from the University of Alabama, she went on to work for Hyatt Hotels in New Orleans, and was eventually promoted to Wedding Coordinator at their premier venue in Atlanta. After rounding out her events experience as a corporate event planner for the past 4 years, she decided to combine her skills and passion to open Ever Luxe Events.
Brea Basham
Director of Design
Brea Basham has a lifetime of passion and over a decade of experience in the interior design industry. Her interest in design began at a young age while designing spaces in the popular computer game, The Sims. She was also greatly inspired by her mother, and eventually began assisting her when friends and family would ask for help with designing wedding decor. Brea pursued her creative passion at the University of Alabama, where she graduated with her degree in Interior Design.
In her career, Brea has designed several medical facilities, administrative offices, and residential spaces; she has also assisted in planning and designing events. She now oversees all design components of weddings & events for ELE. Brea’s creativity, eye for color, and innovative spirit bring beauty to everything she touches.
